Dedicated Compassionate Care Response Teams
Some Congregations may opt to form a dedicated Compassionate Care Response Team.
These individuals work side by side with other Response Teams as they make the initial contact with the client. They provide an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, emotional and spiritual care on a deeper level, and information on the recovery process for all types of disasters.
Compassionate Care Response Teams will be among the last to demobilize.
