Description: Pet Sheltering Response Teams provide an opportunity for people to evacuate to a shelter with their pets in a co-located facility. Many pet owners are reluctant to be rescued without their pets. By providing a pet shelter near the people shelter, we can encourage early evacuation and help families in an ARC shelter to care for their dogs and cats, providing kennels and food.
