Support Transportation
Support Transportation Response Teams supply transportation for clients primarily to and from people shelters. People in a shelter may need to refill their prescriptions or visit their doctor or financial institution while at the shelter and may not have transportation. Members of a Support Transportation Team recruit drivers and dispatch drivers in private cars to assist evacuees in need.
